The naturalization process involves the following steps:

  1. Filling out Form N-400

    The first step is to fill out Form N-400, which is the Application for Naturalization.

  2. Form Submission and Fee

    After filling out the form, you must submit it to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) along with the processing fee.

  3. Biometrics

    You will be asked to provide fingerprints as part of the background check process.

  4. Interview

    An interview will be scheduled to review your application and assess your knowledge of English and civics.

  5. Citizenship Test

    During the interview, you will be tested on your English skills and knowledge about U.S. history and government.

  6. Oath Ceremony
